Microsoft Employees Disrupt Wii U Best Buy EventsRemember how Nintendo was showcasing some of their E3 games at participating Best Buy stores around the country? Well, apparently Microsoft employees have been hired to go to these events and preach about the Xbox One and make comments like "why would you buy a outdated Wii U when the Xbox One is right around the corner?"
However, the employees aren't getting what they hoped for. Most customers just start bashing the Xbox One in response. Seriously, Microsoft, the people attending these Best Buy Wii U events are people who are intimately familiar with the crap you pulled at E3. They ain't takin' your shit.
At first I thought this might just be a case of one really loyal Microsoft employee taking matters into his own hands (especially since the original source was /v/), but reports have come in from numerous Best Buy's around the country that indicate many Microsoft employees have ambushed the demo lines trying to persuade people to switch to the Xbox One.

There are two ways to write a novel.  Plotting (you make an outline, a plan, a roadmap if you will, and then you sit down and write it) and pantsing (you write "by the seat of your pants, throwing caution to the wind).  So when I get asked if I'm a plotter or a pantser, I'm all like er, uh, hold on, let me?  Pantser?  I think?  But I kind of, um, do planny things?
And it gets kind of awkward because in these inarticulate moments I have managed to confuse everyone including myself. And probably spilled a drink.
In recent discussions, however, I've had a bit of a revelation, silly as it is. I've realized that I -- like many writers -- am a plotter/pantser hybrid.  And perhaps what I'm doing is something we could call Pantsing Responsibly.  And, maybe, just maybe, I could share some of my responsible pantsing tips with other writers. Starting with paper notebooks.

The Used Game ParadigmOver the course of this past generation I've been watching the video game market react to the way it's been forced to deal with increasing changes. I've come out against used game sales and even written a journal about boycotting GameStop because (like most people at the time) I believed they were the root cause of all the problems the video game industry has. But that's something I don't believe now as intently as i did then. From where I sit, piracy and used games sales are a problem, but not in the way game companies want us to believe that they are.
Used games are a good thing for consumers. We get to try games out, and if we don't like what we see or finish it early, we trade it in and try another title instead. It's a very good system for us since video game rentals are much harder to come by. Most video rental stores in America have gone extinct and outside specific Red Box Kiosks there aren't a lot of places for consumers to rent video games. The exception, of course, being thr

Music Is My Inspiration ContestWell guys I've decided to start my own contest, because I had awesome feedback on the idea ^_^
It'll be my first contest that I've held...EVER! So it's very exciting :3
So, about the theme of the contest. Well whenever I've felt down and blue because I've been slapped upside the head with an art block, I like to wallow in self pity and blast my favourite tunes XD (LOL) It's extremely therapeutic :P and it really does help to inspire me with new ideas :D.

Ich habe nun die 10k marke erreicht. Ich freu mich sehr darüber :) Danke an die Watcher und Viewer wovon ich täglich neue bekomme :) Wie ihr aber sicherlich alle bemerkt habt ist meine Website immernoch nicht Online. Das liegt unteranderem daran das ich keinen guten Coder finde, der es mir Sliced und an Joomla Anpasst. Dazu kommt noch das ich immoment auch nicht viel Zeit habe dauernt einen Coder zu suche... 2 wollten es schon machen, einer hat es gar nicht erst hinbekommen, und der andere kann nicht so richtig Anpassen. Also wenn einer von euch vieleicht Coden kann, schreib mir einfach eine Mail an "carl@moderngrafix.com". Eine ggl. gibt es auch (Geld) ;)...Weitere Neuigkeiten gibt es zurzeit nicht. Ich denke das reicht auch erstmal :D Viel spaß noch auf meinen Profil und auf die nächsten 10k ;)

I find not a good coder, who sliced me the layout and adapt it on Joomla. In addition I have also no much time always search for a good coder... 2 guys wanted to made it, one of them cant it, and the other one cant adapt... valides XHTML, kein kackiges tabellenlayout, optimiert auf alle relevannten browser und natürlich auch tauglich für behinderte menschen ;)

na prost mahlzeit kollege,
ich habe vor Weilen mal ein joomla template erfolgreich....ähm modifiziert x)
mittlerweile weiß ich zwar noch nicht alles auswendig komme allerdings recht gut damit zurecht valides & semantisch korrektes css
& xhtml umzusetzen

Ich könnt dat gern probieren, allerdings hätte ich natürlich bei Erfolg nix gegen einen finanziellen ausgleich einzuwenden
...also lass was hörn
